Running FreeBSD is dedicated to your FreeBSD servers. We’ll talk about ports, security, automation, how to set up popular software, troubleshooting and your questions. RF is published by me, George Donnelly, a longtime FreeBSD systems administrator. I manage around 70 FreeBSD machines right now, a collection that has been growing since 1999.
Why do you use FreeBSD
I love FreeBSD and use it exclusively on my servers because it’s reliable, predictable, full-featured, secure and relatively easy to maintain. Why do you use FreeBSD?

Hi,
My networj administrator has given me the static IP, but I don’t know how to assign the static IP.
Can you please me as to how to set up static IP for my FreeBSD machine?
Thanks,
Shyam
